17th Annual KNAP-IN at Fort Watauga


Saturday & Sunday, October 4 – 5, 2014

10 am – 4 pm each day behind the Visitors Center

Knapping, the art of making stone tools, is celebrated at Fort Watauga during this annual event. Watch primitive skills craftsmen make arrowheads, spear points and other survival tools. There will be demonstrations of primitive tools such as the bow, arrow and atlatl throughout the day.
